The new Red Paddle Co.14' Sport+ inflatable paddleboard offers fast, long-distance touring and race-ready performance in a user-friendly shape.

Measuring 28" in width, the 14’Sport+ combines incredible speed with stability thus allowing you to extend your paddling adventures.  Its design has extended parallel rails, a tapered nose, and a Speed Tail for rapid water release, making exceptional tracking and a smooth glide with every stroke.

Notably, it weighs nearly 5 lbs less than a 14′ board in the standard MSL construction, thanks to our revolutionary MSL®800 double-drop-stitch material, combined with patented Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) battens, resulting in incredible rigidity. The board also offers a variable traction deck pad for intuitive footwork, adjustable flat bungees for securing your gear, and three soft-touch carry handles for comfortable touring.

The Red Paddle Co. new MSL®800 is 800grams lighter per square metre, or about 2.5oz per square foot. Combined with a new x-weave drop stitch pattern, this material is lighter but just as stiff as the standard MSL.

What is MSL 800?

Monocoque Structural Laminate or MSL is the world's leading drop-stich material. Exclusive to Red Paddle Co. boards.

Monocoque meaning the coating is enteral to the structure. MSL drip-stitch technology integrates a highly durable, reinforced coating to the ultra-high definition weave to form an inseparable base layer.

Structural

The high-tensile drip-stitch fibres are designed to withstand pressures in excess of 22psi, resulting in Red boards providing unrivalled stiffness no matter the rider weight or prevailing conditions.

Laminate

The reinforced composite coating is bonded to the textile core using machine welding that apples heat and pressure to the inner PVC layer. Thus saving over 2KG of adhesives and reducing cosmetic and safety concerns. Produced under low tension, this process creates a torsional stiffening effect when the boards are inflated, making MSL stiffer at lower pressures.
